In Europe the letter R is really big right now. You've got the Husqvarna 450R, Super Duke R, MV Agusta R's, and the Street Triple R. In most cases the R is just a slightly sporter and newer version of last years model. Overall though it seems as though Europe has a lot of interesting stuff to offer us.
Aprilia has the GT versions of their fresh 750 Shiver which includes a small fairing. The big news however is the all new RSV4 V4 superbike that replaces the RSV V-twin superbike.

BMW is still hard at work with expansion. They've just introduced the GS version of the F800 and upgraded the F650GS. The K1200S, R, and GT all have gained 100cc's to become K1300's. And the real juicy news is BMW total new S1000RR an all new inline 4 superbike. The production version still isn't available but BMW did displace the race version for '09.BMW F650GS

It looks like Ducati's taking a break after reveling their 1098/898 line and new monster. For 2009 we get the 1100cc version of the new monster, along with an S version, and a touring model for the sport classic line.Ducati Sports Classic
